This event will feature a thoughtful conversation with respected journalist, Ann Curry, who has been an advocate for change in journalism and our society. With an emphasis on catalyzing change within our communities, this dialogue moderated by Krys Boyd of KERA’s Think, will focus on how Ann has used her voice to tell stories that matter, giving voice to the voiceless and helping humanity. At a critical time in Texas, when despite our booming economy our state ranks 47th out of 50 states for women’s success and well-being, we must use our voices and share our stories to drive change for the more than 14 million women and girls who call Texas home.
